London | Circa £28kA not for profit organisation client of ours, focusing on CSR and sustainability, are looking to recruit a CSR Campaigns/Account Manager to be based in their London office. The post holder will play a key role in securing the commitment and involvement of employers in the programme.
The role will involve campaigning to member companies in the local area to tackle social issues and promote skills in the workplace, with a focus on tackling poor literacy and numeracy.
Key accountabilities:
- Working with companies to engage them with the programme, inspiring CSR and creating a positive impact on society;
- Organising employer-led events in order to promote and raise awareness to increase company engagement with regard to skills in the workplace;
- Liaise with and build relationships with regional partners;
- Communicate, both verbally and in writing, the results of reports to the Project Manager;
- Engage and identify business managers to promote and campaign through their business networks;
- Encourage companies in monitoring and evaluating the impact of workplace basic training skills;
- Work closely with the team to ensure practices are effective.
Essential skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication, with first class ability to work and liaise to a high level as part of a team;
- Awareness of the national skills agenda;
- Excellent time management, project management and organisational skills, with the ability to work off your own initiative;
- The ability to work with a dynamic range of people, alongside experience of managing relationships especially in the private sector;
- IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Desirable skills include experience in the skills sector, especially in the adult learning division. Knowledge of the human resources or training and development profession would also be advantageous.
