The Job- Responsible for providing Social Accountability consultation and project management services to brand name customers in the Americas Region;
- Responsible for researching Social Accountability initiatives;
- Responsible for liaison with Social Accountability monitoring firms and customer contacts;
- Responsible for the development of latest Social Accountability tools;
- Responsible for conducting training for Social Accountability monitoring firms, suppliers and brand names;
- Provide support to internal and external training programs;
- Maintain a progressive and professional technical relations with Intertek customer base;
- Provide support to regional sales and marketing initiatives with global business targets;
- Work with partnership with Intertek global offices around the world;
- Based in Oak Brook, IL (Chicago) and some travel to China, Europe and the Asia Pacific region is required.
The Person- Degree holder or equivalent in Business Administration, Law, Social Science or related subject;
- Minimum 2-5 years of work experience related to Social Accountability in similar capacity;
- Bi-Lingual, English and Spanish fluency a requirement;
- Strong communication and influencing skills;
- Related experience in consumer product and/or service industry is preferred;
- Good knowledge of manufacturing and quality system principles is preferred;
- Strong verbal and written communication proficiencies required. Additional language skills an advantage;
- Literate in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software programs;
- High initiative, self-motivated, innovative, open-minded with good interpersonal skills;
- Exposure in different countries is an advantage.
- Good presentation skills a plus.
