Default Hi from a bright greenie!

Hi folks,

Just introducing myself and my organisation Bright Green (visit the website Talent for a Bright Green future - Home, or join us on facebook @ the Bright Greenies Group)

We reckon the world has some pretty big problems facing it right now. We also reckon we have a lot of the scientific and technological solutions to those problems. But, (we reckon) what we don't have is the right people in the right places in organisations to leverage those solutions.

Enter Bright Green. We're creating a network of brilliant environmental and sustainability people who we can mentor and place in great jobs and make some change happen.

But it's not just a fluffy green cloud in the sky. We're backed by proper business people. Paul Hannam our Chairman has 15 years of recruitment industry success before he became a lecturer in environmental business skills at Oxford Uni before disappearing off to San Diego to write occupational psychology type books. And Tom Savage, our managing director is an established entrepreneur; Young Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2007 and one of Gordon Brown's "Every Day Heroes" listed in the book of that name.

And then there's me, Sarah, who's just joined the team.

I'm a green obsessive, culture obsessive, artsy-stuff obsessive, who's just been tempted back to the UK to join Bright Green, via France and India. I really believe in what we're doing here and hope Bright Green can begin to make a real impact.

We're always on the look out for fabulous people to join the Bright Green network, so do get in touch with us at hello@brightgreentalent.com with a CV and a smile if you're looking for a job in this kind of area, or think you might in the future. There's absolutely no cost to you and we'll do our best to find you something fabulous.

All the best,

Bright Greenie Sarah

Welcome to the forum Bright Green Talent.

Great to have you here.

Maybe someone of your team would like to post interesting jobs available now in the future?

I think that would be great.

See you the forum hopefully.

Hi bright green (Sarah) It will be interesting if your actually green or one of the many green hypocrites. I look forward on meeting a fellow compassionate person with intelligence to change our world for the better, in the limited time we have to make effective change.

Example of someone being a green hypocrite(Al Gore) is some one who claims to be green does a lot of travel even if it is to educate about being green. The green solution is to network out and recruit people from around the world where they stay and work in their local area to minimize actual travel. They could stay connected via low energy/ resource internet connection.

Welcome to the forum and I will be interested to hear of your goals and plans of action.
