Default Hi from Bloom recovery

Hello!
Just joined the Forum and having a look around. I came across you on CSR-Chicks, and live in Bristol where I edit recycling/sustainability magazines for a non profit distributing company called Resource Media that's also branched out into electronic publishing and builds/designs websites and newsletters.

That keeps me pretty busy, but in my spare time I do a bit of drumming, get to the seaside as much as possible for the walking and have just started making short films. Already learnt that animation is a long & drawn out process and that jazz drumming is the most interesting (although I'm NOT a jazz fan!)

Looking forward to spending time here.
Talk soon!
Carolyn

I am curious in the electronic section do they do "dust to dust" comparisons on different products to see which one is the most efficient I find resources lacking on this comparison to help me be responsible in current and future purchases.

Default Hi from Bloom...

Hi Corey, http://www.sustainabilityforum.com/f...ilies/what.gif

Afraid you've lost me a bit there – are you talking about different electronic products? If I've got you right, we've both lost ourselves – the electtronic stuff I'm talking about are e-zines etc, alternatives to publishing print copies of magazines. Because we work mostly in the recycling sector though, we do look at the life cycle of electronics, but we tend to be concentrating more on the legislation and process of recycling rather than the pros and cons of specific products. For that you could go to Litegreen.com or even Green Consumer. I'm guessing that product info is going to change relatively quickly though as new recycling legislation takes effect (both the WEEE Directive with producer responsibility, and the RoHS Directive). Hope that helps, and if I'm off on completely the wrong subject, let me know!
