As long as you keep it local its environmentally friendly. It starts to become environmentally unfriendly when you pack on the added miles of shipping from one opint to another. That includes the distance the raw materials travel before use of the final product.

Love the idea of reusable bags, I have 3 tote bags that I use and I stopped using the bags provided by businesses including the bags from fast food which are primarily paper.

Heck if I had my choice I would even get the food from fast food without wrappers! Haven't come up with a means for that like a portable partitioned reusable storage container that the food could be placed in for transporting.

Would still have to figure out a way for them to stop using wrappers in that many of the hot items are warmed in the wrapper to minimize actual human contact with the food itself.

Keep it up with the bags! :peace:
