Default iWasteNot.com

Hi everyone,

I'm Canadian, and have worked in the environmental field since 1972.

First as a High School Biology and Environmental Sciences teacher. Then as a Park Naturalist, Manager and National Park Superintendent with Parks Canada (1975-2002).

After that I helped our community receive designation as a world Biosphere Reserve (UNESCO) and at the same time started our little company to provide communities with Waste Exchanges (Industrial, Residential) using the idea that 'one person's trash is someone else's treasure & one company's waste can be another one's raw material'.

Now we're beginning to provide 'Green Community Websites with Waste Exchanges and other tools and information to help communities become more sustainable'.

I left being Executive Director of the Biosphere Reserve in 2006, and since then have devoted myself full-time to iWasteNot.com as we expand across North America.

As an example, we provide the State of Washington with residential websites at www.2good2toss.com.

We also provide the State of Georgia, the city of Calgary and the Recycling Council of British Columbia with Industrial-Commercial Waste Exchanges, and will soon supply the City of Chicago with one.

I'm glad to be a part of a world that is waking up to the idea that the economy is a wholly owned subsidiary of the environment (in the words of former Wisconsin Governor Gaylord Nelson).

I'd love to hear from anyone on the forum who is interested in working with us, using our web tools to help your community become more sustainable.
