I'm here because Fabian posted an invitation at alt.solar.thermal@googlegroups.com

Solar thermal is my particular interest. That means using the sun to heat the hot water you use, and also space heating.

I'm one of 1000 volunteers trained by Al Gore to give live presentations of the material he has accumulated and used in An Inconvenient Truth. My speaking schedule is included here.

I am particularly interested in connecting with other folks that live in or near San Jose.

Smile Yes I am new

I found this site in my inbox and decided to see what its all about.
My interest in this topic of sustainability has been one of my main concerns for the last 30 yrs, I am 72 and fear for the future we will leave for our grandchildren.
My main occupation is to protect the future for our birds. I started an association for people who keep birds 25yrs ago and it is now a well known association for the wholse of Australia. We try to instil into new members an awareness of sustainability, climate change etc and hopefully we can bring more caring people into the belief that we can help to change the environment

Hi. I just googled environmental forums and this one popped up. It looked extremely interesting and I wanted to be part of it. So I joined!
