I hope its not to late either. I am hoping I am being paranoid but I think I am seeing the start of the feedback loop that scientists are trying to warn us about. Especially in regards to methane in the arttics and Siberia.

Curious hows the weather in your nick of the woods or is it desert??? I am in central USA by the great lakes. Been lot of nice nights but turns cloudy as soon as sun comes over horizon and clearing 3/4 of the day through or as soon as son goes down over the horizon again. I don't ever remember it doing that growing up. Dry, as well been getting rain just not enough.

Come to the right place to express your concerns welcome

Default How I found you

I belong to an e-group (correct definition?) called Compass Network, a forum about communicating sustainability. Fabian introduced Sustainability Forum to this network. The reason I haven't posted anything is that I don't know how. I'm not a geek so I find it extremely difficult to navigate these group things. So complicated! Don't call me a techno-phobe, because the definition of a phobia is an irrational fear. Yahoo is particularly infuriating. Thank you Sustainability Forum for allowing me to use my own name and password at least. I need lessons on how different kinds of groups work, why some send emails, others not, why I'm not allowed just to "reply", etc. what does thread mean? Is there a glossary of terminology? It took me ages to find this space. How do I introduce myself?

JO: Actually I think you did just fine introducing yourself.

This should get you started with terminology. Each of the blue words within this link is a link to the relevant info based on the term that is blue like "thread"
Internet forum - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Internet slang
Internet slang - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia which has some of the slangs such as LOL = laughing out loud.

I been trying to encourage the host to start a terminology thread which would be organized by a volunteer.

here is a link to the relevant terms you seek.
Forum Terminology

Abbreviations of terms.Acronym
VWvortex Forums: Forum terminology & acronyms

Thread: is a title to a subject that a particular conversation should follow.

Title Is the headline of a post Which you can leave blank when replying to a thread or Include if its related or you want to draw attention to your post.

Post is the box that your message is in and is displayed.

Tags: Key words that describe a thread or post.

Click on the reply button at the top if you want to contribute to a thread already running.

If you want to respond to some one else's specific post there is a quote button in the lower right corner of that post click on it and it will add that post as a quote then you can add your comment at the bottom below there quoted info.
need more just ask...:peace:
