The aim of the workshop is to generate a clear understanding of the scope, meaning, significance and commercial implications of CR, and also how to take CR forward in delegates' own organisation.
Subjects covered include:
a) An introduction to CR and why we need it
b) The concept of stakeholders
c) The key stakeholder groups: customers, employees, investors, suppliers and community
d) The nature of stakeholder relationships and engagement
e) How companies can have a positive impact on society and the environment through its actions while at the same time benefiting the business
f) A short introduction to other core CR concepts, including: sustainability, the “Triple Bottom Line”, governance and ethics, licence to operate, motives and drivers for adopting CR, overcoming barriers to implementing a CR programme.
The workshop is grounded in participants’ own business context and where their organisation stands in relation to CR. The workshop sets participants down the path of making a reality of the CR agenda for their own organisation. Case studies will be examined with a discussion of key concepts and how they apply to individual situations. Numbers are being limited to allow a strong focus on each participant’s own needs and to allow time for discussion in small groups. The event is open to all.
The charge for this event is £75 including VAT per person. Further details can be found on the West London Business website at:
