Default USEPA delaying on GHG Report

The Bush administration has decided to forgo any new U.S. regulation of greenhouse gas emissions for the remainder of 2008, The Washington Post reported Friday.

The U.S. Supreme Court ordered the Environmental Protection Agency 15 months ago to make a finding on whether emissions of greenhouse gases are harmful. The EPA was expected to announce Friday it had scheduled an extended public comment period, effectively kicking the problem to the next president.
