Default Go Green T&T- Reusable bag promotion

As my country,Trinidad and Tobago approaches developed country status, it is imperative that citizens do their part to move the nation to achieving this goal.
Development must not be made the sole responsibility of the government. For any permanent improvements to be made, a unified effort, involving each individual resident is required.
True developent necessitates not only infrastructural advancements but an evolution in our thinking in order to sustain this growth.
Communication advancements have resulted in increased awareness of environmental degradation, the almost inevitable side-effect of industrialisation.
Trinidad & Tobago has been blessed with a natural environment that is perfect for Eco-Tourism, a sustainable source of revenue that could take us into the future way beyond petroleum, which is now the country's main resource.
Our natural environment faces a number of threats that we have the ability to remove or diminish by the choices we make as consumers.
One of the chief threats to our environment is the ubiquitous plastic bag.
Individual change, no matter how small, when done on a nationwide scale, has the power to make a huge difference.
Go Green T&T is an organisation committed to empowering the citizens of Trinidad & Tobago through educating the public on the problems our natural environment faces and working with concerned persons and groups to develop solutions.
