We are delighted to report that Ibstock has been chosen as one, of just two, 'Climate Friendly Communities' in the county to receive a small grant (£500) and ongoing support from Leicestershire County Council and partners for, at least, the next year.
We were chosen under the catagory 'a group who is already working on a climate friendly project.'
Ibstock does Climate Change will be working locally with Ibstock Community Enterprise, who already have a well established track record in
innovative projects.
We look forward to a launch event in Autumn or mid Winter. In the meantime we welcome local residents and businesses from Ibstock, Battram (and a little further afield!) to consult our web pages and take the opportunity to get in touch, to see how they can be involved and benefit from, this latest exciting development in Ibstock.
