Mine started as a kid. My uncle got me a subscription to Ranger Rick magazine for Christmas one year, and kept renewing it year after year. Just learning about animals and nature at a young age kept me interested throughout the rest of my life.
I always hoped I could get my nephews and my friends' kids involved in the same way, but they never seemed to enjoy RR the way I did!
