A very interesting and detailed article on the concept of Solar Islands: adjustable platforms of very large numbers of EFC (extra flat concentrators) panels that can be moved with the “path” of the sun across the sky for different times of the year…either as “solar islands floating on water” (on high sea or near the coast) or “solar islands on land” (e.g. deserts).
